  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • 4 Belgian-style waffles (homemade or frozen, toasted)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for toasting waffles)
  • Optional toppings: fried egg, lettuce, spicy mayo

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the bacon
