Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry

Introduction
This Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry is a quick and flavorful dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Tender shrimp are tossed in a sticky-sweet honey garlic sauce, paired with fresh vegetables for a wholesome, satisfying meal in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season lightly with salt, and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  3. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the cornstarch mixture, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return shrimp to the pan and toss until coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
