Classic comfort food at its best! This creamy beef stroganoff is made with tender strips of beef, fresh mushrooms, and a rich sour cream sauce. It’s a satisfying dinner that comes together in just 30 minutes — perfect over egg noodles or rice!


📝 Ingredients

  • 500g beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 250g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Cooked egg noodles or rice for serving

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until soft. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook beef strips until browned. Return mushrooms and onion to the pan.
  4. Sprinkle flour, stir well, then pour in beef broth. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in sour cream and mustard. Adjust salt and pepper. Simmer 2–3 minutes more.
  6. Serve hot over egg noodles or rice. Garnish with chopped parsley.
