Instructions
1. Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2. Sauté the vegetables
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook for 4–5 minutes. Add zucchini and cook another 2–3 minutes. Finally, add cherry tomatoes and cook briefly.
3. Make the sauce
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and reserved pasta water. Stir and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
4. Combine everything
Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss well with vegetables and sauce. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
5. Finish and serve
Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Add fresh basil and serve immediately.
