Spicy Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta


🌶️ Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (or more to taste)
  • Salt & pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 250g penne or fettuccine pasta (cooked & drained)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Toss the chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook the chicken until browned and cooked through (about 6–7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic and sliced bell peppers until soft (3–4 minutes).
  4. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened slightly.
  5. Return chicken to the pan, then add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Simmer 2 more minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.
