Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls Recipe: The Perfect Sweet Treat

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Blueberry Layer:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

For the Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Make the Dough: In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm milk, water, melted butter, and egg. Knead until smooth, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  2. Prepare the Filling: Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. In a separate bowl, toss blueberries with sugar and lemon juice.
  3. Assemble the Rolls: Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly, then sprinkle blueberries over it. Roll it up tightly and slice into 8–10 rolls.
  4. Bake: Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden.
  5. Glaze & Serve: Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls. Serve fresh!
