📝 Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Extra cheddar and bacon for topping

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain well.
  2. Mash potatoes with butter, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Stir in cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with extra cheese and bacon.
  5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with more green onions before serving.
