Ingredients:
6 bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on)
⅓ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
Sesame seeds & chopped green onions for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper.
Prepare Teriyaki Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Simmer for 5 minutes, then add cornstarch slurry. Stir until thickened. Set aside.
Bake Chicken: Arrange chicken thighs skin-side up on tray. Bake for 25 minutes. Brush with teriyaki sauce, then bake another 10–15 minutes until cooked through and caramelized.
Finish & Serve: Brush once more with sauce before serving. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
